ANTI-RAGGING CELL
It is prestigious that VKM campus is free from ragging. Ragging means Disorder Conduct and doing any act which may causes physical or psychological harm. Thus, ragging is totally prohibited in the institution, and anyone found guilty of ragging, is liable to be punished.
WOMEN CELL
The Women cell at VKM was started with the aim of empowering and orienting women to recognize their true potential and to help them attain their own stand in a competing world. Its goal is the overall development of women in all spheres of their life. It also helps in creating awareness about important issues related to women and provides a forum for discussion and deliberation on a range of issues from empowerment to environment.
STUDEENT GRIEVANCE CELL
VKM believes pleasant educational atmosphere. The Grievance cell is constituted for the redressal of the student problems. We encourage the students to express their grievances/problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members. The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and find the appropriate solution.
ART AND CRAFT CLUB
Art and Craft Club is defined by aptitude, creativity, productivity and accomplishment. The club members tryout with creative artwork by using ordinary and simple materials. The purpose of this club is to endorse and support art devotees, to circulate and contribute to special occasional activities held at VKM. The persistence is to inspire creative manifestation, create artwork around college campus, allow students to find out new crafts and bring together a group of compatible people. The club is open for different activities like painting, rangoli, drawing, ceramics, composition, architecture, collage etc.
GREEN CLUB
Objective of this Club is Enhancement of environmental friendly attitudes of the students and mobilization of their latent resources and skills towards development of personal-ethics and commitment for a greener society through knowledge and awareness. For this, college carries out activities of social commitments- clean-ups, plantation, posters etc.
COUNSELING AND PLACEMENT CELL
Counseling CELL AT VKM provides guidance to the students to develop their overall individuality and help them meet challenges in their life. The cell has been ever active in motivating the students to become career oriented and visualize the strengths and understand what they should do in the future. It provides guidance and motivation to students in exploring various career avenues through lectures by inviting eminent personalities from academia, industries and renowned organizations.
VKM Placement Cell ensures a helping hand to students in their initial step into the World of Work. Currently, the placement cell convinces and invites organizations to come to college and helps them conduct the recruitment drive at the college. Placement Cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for Under Graduates and Post Graduates students
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
VKM follows Vedic Sanskriti based on the ideology of Dayanand Saraswati and the campus is hub of intellectual activities. College focuses on social activities as it keeps us sharp and mentally engaged, it improves the student personality enhancing their communication skills and building a positive and progressive global outlook.
It is time to put the focus of students on Vedic ideologies which will help our youngsters to nurture on all fronts, humanizing their skills and knowledge and building to make our girls lead with balanced growth.
College Students have participated in immense activities and understood the joy of giving. To encourage this, college conducts AANANDAM activities very enthusiastically. Aanandam scheme inspires college students to contribute towards society and earn academic credits in return. The students work for the welfare of society through assigned tasks.
Aanandam is a mandatory and credited subject, the grades of which will be added to calculate the aggregate percentage of marks of the students. The marks will be reported in the marksheet and will be given full weightage. College ensures that Aanandam subject period of 30 minutes is displayed in college time tables. In 2020-21, this course applies only to first year and PG (Previous) classes.
