Expedition of  Drawing and Painting Department – 2021

Excursions and field study are important learning tools.  Excursion method of teaching provides an opportunity to students to visit different places for their academic enhancement. Field survey can be near or far, small or big always augment the usefulness of the subject. For this our Geography, Drawing and Painting and Science Department has organized Excursions time to time for our student’s betterment.

Drawing and Painting

Excursions are significant learning tool to enrich students understanding. For this VKM have time to time organized expeditions. One of them is the visit of the students from Drawing and Painting department to ‘Jawahar Kala Kendra’ on 27^th October 2021. Girls (25) have experienced Nandlal Basu’s art exhibition, where they erudite different shapes and colors used in the paintings and how his artistic thoughts were conveyed into the pictures.  Dr. Poonam Chopra and Dr. Neha Khatri accompanied the students in the exhibition. Dr. Poonam Chopra, Head of Drawing and Painting department regularly interpreted the art forms for superior student understanding.

Another expedition of  Drawing and Painting department was held on 28^th October, 2021, Student visited Rural Craft Mela, along with Dr. Poonam Chopra where they implicit about the domestic industries which can be easily started at home.
